OSAT Blog Hop - Let it Snow!

Hello Friends! I hope you are having a fabulous week!  It's hard to believe it's already the 2nd Thursday of the Month!  This month's One Stamp At A Time's Blog Hop is packed with Inspiration for our Let It Snow theme!  If you've already been hopping, you should have landed here from the fabulous blog of Renee Ondrajka and I'd like to thank you for continuing on!  If you have jumped on board with me you'll want to make sure that you visit all of the blogs by clicking the next button at the bottom of the post!

So without further ado, here is my card and project for this month's hop...

I just adore the little Eskimo from the Cookie-Cutter Christmas stamp set so I combined it with the Snow Place Stamp Set to come up with this cute set!

I used the Softly Falling Embossing Folder for my Snow Background on Soft Sky Cardstock.  The Circle was cut with the Layering Circle Framelits.  After cutting the circle, I used my paper trimmer to slice the bottom off of it.  The Layering Oval Framelits were used to cut the door.  After the Igloo shape was formed, it was embossed with the Brick Wall Embossing Folder and then sponged with some Soft Sky Ink.  The Eskimo was stamped on Whisper White Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored in using Blender Pens with Sahara Sand, Soft Sky and Soft Suede ink for the clothing and Peekaboo Peach (lightly) on the face with Blushing Bride on the cheeks. The sentiment and Candy Cane are from the Snow Place stamp set.

The inside sentiment and snowflakes are also from the Snow Place Stamp Set.

I used the Curvy Keepsake Box to make my Igloo treat box.  The Eskimo was colored with blender pens just as it was on the card but I backed it with another punch for added stability.  For the flag attached to the candy cane, I used the Hardwood stamp in Sahara Sand on Whisper White cardstock and then stamped the sentiment from Snow Place with Soft Suede Ink.  I hand cut the banner end and then attached to the back of the candy cane with Tombow multipurpose glue.  I then glued the candy cane to the back of the Eskimo's hand and then attached it all with 2 layers of Dimensionals to the Curvy Keepsake box.

PCC218 Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge!

Hello!  Happy Wednesday!  I'm back over with the Paper Craft Crew today with my version of this fun Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge.

I decided to go straight down the third row with Embossing, Favorite Holiday Color (Red/Turquoise Combo) and Animal.  I pulled out a super fun set called Snow Place from last year's Christmas Catalog that returned to the Annual Catalog so yep, it's current, Yay!

Some of the snowflakes in the background were heat embossed and some are snowflake sequins that I had in my stash.  I added a few white and iridescent sequins as well with my Fine Tip Glue Pen.  I also heat embossed with hill but running the Versamark pad over the hand cut slope and then pouring white embossing powder over it and then heating it until the entire piece was embossed.  I actually did this twice to get a better shiny white coating on it.   I just love the Red and Tempting Turquoise combination for Christmas.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings, Tina

Stampin' Up! World Card Making Day Blog Hop!

Welcome to our World Card Making Day Blog Hop using current Stampin' Up!® Products. This is such a fantastic way to celebrate this event with lots of amazing inspiration for you. You are currently visiting my blog, Tina Riddle of Manchester, Tennessee in the United States, and you will be visiting lots of different places in your hop today. There is a list at the end of the page which will help you to move along from blog to blog so you can see all 20 of the amazing cards and projects!

I used the Snow Place stamp set from the Annual Catalog to make this fun card.  I started off with a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped the penguin in Basic Black Archival Ink and then stamped him again on a post it note and cut it out to form a mask.  I made an additional mask for the snowy hill for my penguin to stand.  I stamped the snowflakes in Versamark ink and then clear embossed them.  I placed the mask on the penguin and on my hill and sponged in Wisteria Wonder and Pool Party.  Once I was happy with my sponging, I removed the masks.  I used a Stampin' Write Marker in Pumpkin Pie to color in the Penguin's beak and feet.  I used some scraps of Basic Black cardstock to make Sunglasses for my Cool Penguin.  I punched the little circles from the Owl Punch and hand cut a little thin black strip for the top of the glasses.  I cut a small sliver off of the top of the two circles before attaching to the strip with Mini Glue Dots.  I ended up cutting my little strip at an angle to make the glasses a bit cooler.   The Time to Chill sentiment was stamped in Basic Black Archival Ink onto Whisper White cardstock.  I used my Banner Triple Punch to punch the banner ends on it and attached it with Stampin' Dimensionals on the upper right.  I ran of piece of the 3/8" Silver Glitter Ribbon onto the bottom and tied a bow on the left side.  A few of the Fancy Frost Sequins with my Fine Trip Glue Pen.  This layer was added to a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Silver Glimmer Paper with Stampin' Dimensionals and then that was mounted on a 4 1/4" x 11" Wisteria Wonder Cardbase that was scored at 5 1/2".  That was it, super easy and fun to create!

Thanks so very much for stopping by!  Happy World Card Making Day!   You are at Tina Riddle's Blog so make sure you click the name after mine on the below list to continue on the hop!  Enjoy!!  Blessings, Tina!

http://onestampinmothertucker.blogspot.com/2015/12/stampin-friends-it-is-holiday-hop.html

This month we are super excited to have 3 awesome guest hoppers!

Here's my Christmas card.

I have been having so much fun playing with these Snow Place stamp set and the coordinating Snow Friends Framelit Dies.  I knew as soon as I saw these that I would "need" them for my granddaughter's Christmas cards.  There is just no way to make a card with these that isn't adorable!
For my project I wanted to make a cute little container to hold some "Reindeer Chow"

I used my mini baker's box thinlits and I must say it is the first time I've used them.  They sure make a super cute little treat holder.  I cut them out in Soft Sky and used the Home for Christmas Reindeer DSP panels on the bottom.  I ran some 1/4" real red cotton ribbon along the top of the DSP layers by using tear tape strips to hold it in place.  The "yum" word comes with the Mini Baker's Box thinlits so I cut that out and glued to the top of the box.  I tied a box with more of the 1/4" real red cotton ribbon on the top and attached a reindeer clip with some of the real red pom pom trim as well.  I think it turned out super cute and my granddaugher's will love their Reindeer Chow packaged up in these cute little baker's boxes :)

Also, as you are hopping along today, you will notice this banner along the way!  So make sure that you get the needed detail from every hopper and email for your chance to win big!

And by the way, my favorite holiday is indeed Christmas!  Yay, we're almost there!
