PCC #331 - Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge - Stampin' Up! Sea of Textures Bundle

Happy Hump Day!  We made it half way through the work week!  That's a big Yay for me!  Of course Wednesday means yet another Paper Craft Crew Challenge.  This week is a fun Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge... I went straight down the 3rd row for mine.

So for sequins, Stitched Rectangular Dies and Green, I thought Nautical.  So here's what I came up with using the Stampin' Up! Sea of Textures Bundle along with the coordinating Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper.

My card base is an A2 base of Seafoam Green Cardstock.  I used the 2nd largest of the Rectangle Stitched Dies to cut a piece of the Tranquil Textures DSP and matted it with Tranquil Tide Cardstock.  I stamped the Octopus in Tranquil Tide on Whisper White Cardstock.  Once stamped, I used one of the smaller rectangles to cut it out.  Seafoam Green Ink was sponged on the Whisper white after the Octopus was stamped.  I also stamped some of the seagrass in Seafoam Green at the bottom of the stitched Rectangle.  The sentiment "You're one of a kind" was heat embossed in White on Tranquil Tide Cardstock and I used one of the skinny rectangles to cut it out.  I used snail to attached the sentiment strip and then used Dimensionals to attach the larger triangle to the center of the card.  I finished it off with three Sparkling Clear Confetti Sequins by Pretty Pink Posh.

SIP #192 - Sketch Challenge with SSS CZ Designs and Stampin' Up!

Hi There!  Hope today is going to be an awesome day for you!  It's Tuesday, so of course it's time for another SIP Challenge.  This week we have a super easy and fun sketch.... check it out!

How cool is that!  I just love Cathy Zielske and I just picked up a cool "woot" die that she designed as well as an awesome sentiment stamp set so I had to use them.  Simon Says Stamp carrys her CZ Design sets if interested.. make sure you head over and check them out!

Of course, I turned the sketch on it's side.  I always have to be a little difficult, right??  For today's card I really could have used any DSP but since I just received my Sale-A-Bration freebie for spending $100 at Stampin' Up "The Painted Seasons Bundle", I decided to go with it.  I really love the colors in the DSP.. especially the Poppy Parade!  The "Woot" Die from CZ Design is awesome and I love that it includes the shadow die so you can use two coordinating cardstock colors.   The Stamp Set is SSS CZ Designs "Simple Sentiments II You are Loved" and it has awesome sentiments that I know I'll use soooo much!  You'll notice I added a little stitched rectangle of Vellum to the middle of the card to soften the center and allow the sentiment to stand out!

I decided to add one of the Painted Season Flowers and a couple of the leaves to the inside to coordinate it with the front!  The flower was stamped in Poppy Parade and the Leaves were stamped in Call Me Clover Ink.  The center of the flower was filled in with an Early Espresso Marker.  Since the flowers in the DSP had Early Espresso centers that I coordinated this with those.

SIP #191 - Bring On the Cake Birthday Card Challenge

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  It's been a beautiful couple of days here and we're hoping for many more like this.  I'm soooo glad it finally dried out and the sun has been shining!  It is actually beginning to feel like Spring and to start it off in normal fashion, Jeff and I went to my granddaughter's first softball tournament on Saturday.  I expect there will be many more ballpark visits in the next few months. This was a tournament for my 9 year old granddaughter, Taylor.  Next weekend there will be one for Taylor again as well as her 7 year old sister, Laken.

As usual on Tuesdays, it's time for another Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge.  This week is all about birthdays.  This is a good challenge for me since I always need a good supply of those!

Here's what I came up with.......

I used a combination of the Concord & 9th Laurel Frame Bundle and Shiplap Sentiments for this one.  I love the Shiplap so much that I didn't want to cover it up so I positioned the Laurel frame to the far right side.  I finished it off after mounting it on Pistachio Pudding Cardstock and then Basic Black Cardstock and adding three Sparkling Clear Confetti Sequins by Pretty Pink Posh.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings, Tina

SIP #190 - Best of Luck Theme Challenge

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  Are you lucky??  Well I've never been a big believer in luck but with St Patrick's Day right around the corner, Stamp, Ink, Paper has a Best of Luck Challenge for you this week!  I was lucky I had a stamp set to use.. lol

And here's what I came up with....

I found an old Avocado Arts Stamp Set called "Hello Spring" that included a Good Luck sentiment as well as a four leaf clover.  I kept it really simple with this one by a simple stamped imagine in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock.  I used Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends to color it in and layered it with Whisper White and GrannyApple Green Cardstock by using some square dies.  I can't tell you the last time I made a card without full panel card layers.  It's a nice change I think.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings, Tina

SIP #189 - Gingham, Plaid or Stripes Challenge with Stampin' Up! Wonderful Romance Bundle

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  Hope this week finds you warm, happy, and well!  It's time for another Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge and I think you'll love this one!

There are so many ways I could have gone with this one but as I was flipping through some of my DSP, I found this beautiful stripe and it just called to me!  The truth is.. I feel certain that it is retired and don't really know the name of the DSP pack but it was really pretty and I loved the combination of Lemon Lime Twist and Fresh Fig!

The leaves were stamped tone-on-tone with Lemon Lime Twist ink and cardstock.  I had to fussy cut them, but they weren't too hard.  The sprigs were die cut in Fresh Fig Cardstock.  They were in the coordinating dies as well as the beautiful Oval Frame Die.  I adore that frame.... I believe I will be using it a LOT!!!  I wanted to make this card a birthday card so instead of using one of the sentiments in the Stamp Set, I used a sentiment from a recent Hero Arts set.  It is so easy to create a card with Designer Series Paper doing most of the heavy lifting!   I love these stripes and I hope it inspires you to create a card.  I'm sure you have some beautiful paper sitting around begging to be used too!

Have a wonderful week!  Blessings, Tina
