SIP #200 Designer's Choice - Case a Designer

Hello and Happy Tuesday, also known as "I survived Monday"!  My kitchen remodel is still not complete... ugh!  I have most of my kitchen packed up in my craft room still.  This does not make for a fun card marking experience!  This week's Stamp, Ink, Paper is Designer's Choice.  Luckily for me I had recently received my Everything is Rosy Product Medley and it was easy to get to!

Here's my card using the Everything is Rosy Product Medley!

The colors I chose were Blushing Bride, Soft Suede, and Whisper White with Rose Gold Accents.  The background of Blushing Bride was stamped tone on tone with last month's Paper Pumpkin Rose stamp.  I love that etched image and have used it several times.   I loved that the Everything is Rosy Product Medley had labels ready to stamp a sentiment on.  I honestly could have used some of the floral die cuts that came with the suite but I decided to stamp and die cut my own.  I added some die cut Rose Gold foil greenery and added a few dots of the Rose Gold Shimmer Paint.   I finished it off with 3 of the Rose Gold flat sequins.  This kit is a little pricey but sure has a lot of fun components!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings, Tina

PCC336 Sketch Challenge with Stampin' Up! Everything is Rosy Suite

Hello!  Happy Hump Day!  We are still all crazy over here with my entire kitchen packed up and in my craft room.  Luckily I received my new Everything is Rosy Suite from Stampin' Up! today just in time to make my Design Team card for the new Paper Craft Crew Sketch!  So glad I didn't have to try to move things around in my craft room to get to a stamp set! lol

Here's my card using my fun new set!  I love the DSP in it!!

The colors in the suite are soooo pretty too!  I love the Night of Navy with the Rose Gold and Melon Mambo!!  Navy is really on trend this year.  How do I know that?  My daughter is having a baby and the colors in the nursery are Blush and Navy.  Believe me, if Christine says Navy is cool.... it's cool!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings, Tina

SIP #198 Wings of Wonder - Brusho Background and SU Butterfly Gala Stamp Set

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  I've had a crazy week or so while we are renovating our kitchen!  Most of my kitchen is currently packed up and in my craft room.  That being said, I was lucky to have been able to get to a stamp set that would work for this week's Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge!  This week's Challenge is all about Wings.  I had a butterfly set in fairly close proximity to my desk so that's what I used!  I think Fairy's would be a fun twist though, don't you??

Luckily, when organizing some of my craft supplies a few weeks ago, I found some Brusho Watercolor Backgrounds I made a while back.  I decided to use some of those in today's card!

I actuallly used parts of several backgrounds.  Two of them were green with touches of mustard/gold. Those two were cut into stitched rectangles using the SU Stitched Rectangle Framelits.  I matted the smaller panel in Black before adhering it over the large Rectangle.   One of the Brusho Backgrounds was mostly gold so I used that one to stamp my butterflies from the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set and then punched them out and adhered just the body of the butterflies onto the front card panel with Gina K Connect Glue so that their wings could be lifted up.  The greenery was cut in Black from a Concord & 9th die from their Just Because Bundle.  I heat embossed the sentiment "a little note", also from the SU Butterfly Gala Stamp Set, in Black.  Finally I added just a few splatters of White Paint and then mounted the rectangles onto a Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 110# Card Base.
