OSAT Blog Hop Slim Shady - Slim Line Card featuring the Hello Ladybug Bundle

Good Morning and welcome to the One Stamp At A Time February 2022 Slim Shady Blog Hop!  Do you love the super trendy Slim Line Cards?  If so, you will LOVE all of the Amazing Inspiration that you will get along this hop! I chose to use the super cute Hello Ladybug Bundle along with the Circle Layering Dies, Forever Flourishing Dies and the Medium Daisy Punch on my card today!

I started off with an 8-1/2" x 7" piece of Granny Apple Green Cardstock, scored at 3-1/2" on the 7" side for my Slim Line Card Base!  I layered on a 3-3/8" x 8-3/8" panel of Real Red Cardstock.  I used the Layering Circle Dies to cut 4 circles out of the focal panel of 3-1/4" x 8-1/4" piece of Pattern Party DSP.  I used scraps of Basic White Cardstock to stamp two of the Lady Bugs that coordinate with the Lady Bug Builder Punch using Real Red and Memento Tuxedo Black Inks.  I stamped 6 of the Daisy Images onto more scraps of Basic White cardstock and used the Medium Daisy Punch to punch them out.  I offset a layer onto another layer of a daisy to make 3 fuller daises.  I used another scrap of Basic White to stamp the other Lady Bug Image from the set using the same Inks.  Using my Granny Apple Green Dark Blends, I added some ground/grass to the bottom of the walking Ladybug image!  I used the light Pool Party Blends Marker to fill in the background.  The sentiment in one of the smaller circles was stamped with the three small flower stamp from the stamp set in Blushing Bride Ink on another scrap of Basic White Cardstock.  The sentiment was stamped over the floral image in Real Red Ink.  I again used the light Pool Party Blends marker to lightly color around the sentiment and flowers.  In a larger scrap of Basic White Cardstock, I stamped the large leaf image in Granny Apple Green and again lightly colored around the image in the light Pool Party Blends marker.   Finally I used the Forever Flourishing Dies to cut out some leafy branches in Granny Apple Green.  For one of the circle backgrounds I only colored in a Pool Party Blends background and added part of the leafy branch die to it.  I added all of the background scraps behind the circles with scotch tape to the back of the Pattern Party layer.  Once I was happy with the placement of the inside of the circles, I added the two stamped and punched ladybugs, added some of the Granny Apple Green Leafy Branches and the Double Layered Daisies.  I added three Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the center of the Daisies.  A small Brushed Brass Butterfly was added to the sentiment circle and two of the larger Brushed Brass Butterflies was added over the sentiment circle.  To finish off the card front, I used the Black and White Twine from the Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack along the left side of the card front adding two small pieces of scrap ribbon (Real Red Ruffled Ribbon and Black and White Gingham Ribbon) prior to tying into a knot.

For the inside of the card, I layered 3" x 8" Basic White Cardstock onto a 3-1/4" x 8-1/4" panel of Real Red Cardstock.  I stamped two daisies in Daffodil Delight onto the bottom of the card front and added a small piece of the leafy branch from the Forever Flourishing Dies.  On another scrap of Basic White Cardstock, I stamped two more Daisies and punched them out with the Medium Daisy Punch to offset layer onto the stamped daisies.  The inside sentiment is from the Sunny Sentiments Stamp Set and was stamped in Real Red Ink.

For my Treat Holder, I used one of the Sweet Little Boxes and added layers of Real Red Cardstock and Pattern Party DSP to match the card.  I added one of the Leafy branches cut from the Forever Flourishing Dies and another of the stamped and punched Lady Bugs to again match the Slim Line Card.  I finished it off by adding a small bow of the Black and White Twine.  All of the products used will be added below the Blog Roll.

The Spot Challenge #151 - Slim Line Card with Stampin' Up! Birds and Branches Bundle

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  It finally warmed up here and is beginning to feel like Middle Tennessee again!  We had 55 degrees on Saturday and the sun shone bright.  All of the snow has finally melted and I hope we don't see any more snow any time soon!

Over at the Spot this week, we have a fun slim line card challenge...

I decided to pull out my Birds and Branches Bundle because I had an idea...

I'm not sure that my slim line is the same measurements as everyone else makes them.  I cut my Coastal Cabana 8-1/2" x 11" cardstock to 8-1/2" x 7" and scored the 7" side at 3-1/2".  It makes a nice size that fits perfectly in a business envelope (I'm not a fan of making envelopes!).  I added a layer of 8" x 3" Bermuda Bay Cardstock as a Matt and my top layer is the beautiful woodgrain DSP from the Tasteful Textures DSP that was cut at 7-3/4" x 2-3/4".  I then used my stitched shapes dies to cut out 3 circles out of the woodgrain panel.  I used mini dimensionals to top of the woodgrain layer and then inserting the circles back into the holes with multipurpose adhesive.  I stamped the birds nests in Soft Suede onto Crumb Cake Cardstock and cut off a little of the sides of them so they would insert into the holes easily.  The birds were stamped onto Basic White Cardstock in Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay Ink.  I added some greenery from the coordinating dies in Just Jade.  The felt flowers from the Flower Cactus Product Medley were added with Multipurpose adhesive onto the greenery.  The sentiment from the Flowering Cactus Stamp Set was stamped onto thin strip of Basic White with Calypso Coral Ink and adhered with mini dimensionals.

Have a beautiful day and a wonderful week.  Blessings, Tina

OSAT Blog Hop Pretty In Pink

Hello there!  Hope you're having a wonderful day!  Today is the 2nd Thursday of the Month which means another One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop!

This month's theme is Pretty In Pink.  If you've already been hopping, thanks so much for continuing.  If you are starting with me, you'll want to be sure to hop all the way through to check out all of the amazing inspiration from Stampin' Up! Demonstrators around the globe!

I decided to finally get on board the Slimcard train!  Here's what I came up with...

For the front panel of my card, I started out with some ink blending..

My ink blended panel was a 3 3/4" x 8 3/4" piece of Whisper White.  Using a medium oval make up brush I started with Petal Pink at the bottom of the Panel, then blended Blushing Bridge, Flirty Flamingo, and onto Magenta Madness.  After the ink blending, I spritzed the panel with water and then blotted it with a paper towel.  I used my heat tool to make sure the panel was completely dry and then used my stamparatus to stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink various Peony images from the Prized Peony Stamp Set.  The stamparatus allowed me move the panel around and to make sure I got good stamped images all over the panel.  Once I completed the stamped panel, I mounted it on a Basic Black Card Base that measured 8" x 9", and scored at 4" on the 8" side.  I used scraps of Basic Black Cardstock to cut some leaves with one of the dies from the Forever Flourishing Dies.   On another scrap of Basic Black Cardstock, the Just saying hello sentiment from the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set was stamped in Versamark Ink and then heat embossed in White.  I used the Tasteful Labels dies to cut out the sentiment.  I adhered with leaves with Multipurpose Adhesive onto the front of the panel and then added the sentiment label with Black Dimensionals over the leaves.

Here's a close up of the front panel...

I finished off the front by adding three In Color Enamel Dots in Magenta Madness and some splatters with my Clear Wink of Stella Pen.

Here's the inside of the card.  I kept it simple...

I added some of the Peony images stamped off the edge of the inside panel in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink but did not add a stamped sentiment yet.  I might add one later.. we shall see!

For my gift card holder, I started with a 5 x 4 1/4" piece of Basic Black cardstock, scored at 2 1/2" on the 5" side.  I lined up the 5" side on my paper trimmer at the 2 1/2" score and cut it diagonally within 1/4" of the end.  I then added some Multipurpose Adhesive to adhere the bottom and the small 1/4" section on the side. I used some of the 2020 - 2022 In Color DSP in Magenta Madness woodgrain 2 1/8" x 3 3/4" and cut it diagonally as I did on the Basic Black Gift Card Holder Base.  Once cut, I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp soem of the Peony Images onto the DSP and then adhered it with Multipurpose Adhesive.  Using the Label Me Fancy punch I cut a small slit in the top of the gift card holder.  I added some Magenta Madness 2020 - 2022 In Color 1/4" Ribbon through the slot and then tied one some of the Black and White Baker's Twine from the Payful Pets Trim Combo Pack into a bow over the Magenta Madness ribbon.
