SIP #178 Pretty Punches Challenge with Stampin' Up! Christmas Traditions Punch Box

Hi There!  I hope you are having a wonderful post-Thanksgiving week!  This week we have a super easy and fun challenge for you at Stamp, Ink, Paper.

I love this Challenge.... punches are so fun!

I used the Christmas Traditions Punch Box for my center stamped image and punched it out with the coordinating punch.  I layered it on top of the Pretty Label Punched in Real Red and then layered that on a couple of circle punches in Whisper White (1 3/4")  and Basic Black (2").

How simple to bring a card to life with a little DSP and layered punches.  Sometimes you just need a fast and simple card and nothing is easier than using punches!

SIP #177 Color Challenge with Concord & 9th Lovely Blossoms Bundle

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  Are you ready for Thanksgiving?  I cannot believe it is in just two days!  I'm cooking twice, once Wednesday at noon and again on Thursday at noon.  Am I crazy or what??!!??  Between my kids and my husband's kids, there just wasn't a good time for everyone to come at one time.  I think I have all of my groceries bought and am ready..... I HOPE!

This week's Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge is a color challenge using Dark Brown, Red Wine, and Cement!   Here's a look at the Challenge Graphic.

I decided to pull out my Lovely Blossoms Turnabout Stamp and coordinating die set.  It is an easy set to use with these colors.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I'm heading back into the kitchen to get back to work!  Happy Thanksgiving my friends!  I hope you are surrounded by family and friends!

Blessings, Tina

SIP Challenge #176 - At The Lodge with Stampin' Up! Alpine Adventure Bundle

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  I hope you had a marvelous weekend!  I've had some back issues the last couple of weeks so I did a lot of resting over the weekend!  Today was a little better and I went to the Chiropractor after work so I think I'm on the right track!

This week over at Stamp, Ink, Paper we have an "At The Lodge" Challenge".  This is a theme challenge that I believe will inspire you!

When I think of Lodges, I usually think of a Ski Lodge so I went with a rustic look using the awesome Alpine Adventure bundle from Stampin' Up!  I love the stamp set but the coordinating Alpine Sports Thinlits can do so much just on their own!

This card came together so super easily!  I used SU Cherry Cobbler Cardstock for my base.  My top layer was a piece of SU Sahara Sand stamped tone on tone with the Brutus Monroe/Unity Stamps Collaboration "Barn Wall" background stamp.  The sled was cut out in SU Crumb Cake Cardstock but I later decided it should be a little darker so I used an Aqua Brush to add some Early Espresso Ink to it to darken it up!  The skis were stamped on SU Sahara Sand Cardstock with Early Espresso Ink.  I added the Holly and Bow to the skis, made from the Alpine Sports Dies, with SU Mossy Meadow and SU Cherry Cobbler Cardstock.  The Wreath was stamped in Mossy Meadow Ink onto Sahara Sand Cardstock with the Berries in Cherry Cobbler stamped over the wreath.  I added the Cherry Cobbler Bow to the bottom of the Wreath.  The Greeting was inked first with Versamark and then Cherry Cobbler and then clear heat embossed.  I finished this off with a piece of Cherry Cobbler Twine to the left side of the card and tied it in a bow.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings, Tina

SIP #175 Gratitude with Concord & 9th Grateful For Everything Bundle

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  Well here we are in November and it's time to think about Gratitude over at Stamp, Ink, Paper

I decided that a Gratitude Challenge was the perfect time for the Concord & 9th Grateful For Everything Bundle!  Not only is the focal image in the set gorgeous but the sentiments are perfect for gratitude/thankfulness!

The sentiment I used on this card is my favorite and the font is awesome!!  The focal image in the stamp set is so gorgeous and very large!  I stamped the image with Gina K Amalgam Ink onto Bristol Smooth Cardstock and then colored with Kuretake Zig Clean Color Markers and then cut with the coordinating die.  Once I decided where I wanted the image on the DSP I cut it and will save the other part for another card!  I went a little crazy with three colors of flowers maybe??  I just wanted to add some colorful flowers since the greenery and wheat were pretty dull.  Hopefully it worked out fine.  I rally love it!  I adhered the image with Tombow Multipurpose Adhesive and then added three Pretty Pink Posh Clear Sparkling Confetti with Glitter Glue.  I added the card front onto a blue cardbase with some Fast Fuse and then tied some linen thread across the top with a small bow.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings!  Tina
