Stampin' Up! Pierced Blooms Dies Floral Wreath Birthday Card
I used the smaller flower and leaf dies from the Pierced Blooms Set and cut them in all of the colors from the Color Challenge. For my wreath base, I cut a 2" circle with a punch and then cut a 2-1/2" circle centering the 2" circle in the middle to make 1/2" ring for my base. If you don't have punches, you can use two circle dies to cut a ring for your base. Just use what you have and love what you've got! lol I arranged the leaves on the base first with multipurpose adhesive and then added the flowers around the circle using both multipurpose adhesive and glue dots. I finished it off by adding a few Basic Rhinestone Jewels and a double bow made of Mossy Meadow Twine and adhered it with a glue dot on the left side of the wreath. My card base is a half sheet of Highland Heather cardstock measuring 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" scored at 4-1/4" on the 8-1/2" side. I added a 4" x 5-1/4" panel of Basic White cardstock that was embossed with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. I attached the Wreath with Dimensionals. I used the Word Wishes Dies to cut out "Happy" in Basic White (2 layers) and Highland Heather (1 layer) for a drop shadow. I used the Blossoms in Bloom Stamp Set to stamp Happy Birthday in Highland Heather onto Basic White.. cutting the Birthday out with Paper Snips. I mounted the Birthday stamped strip onto a thin layer of Highland Heather and attached it under the Happy with Glue Dots onto the Wreath. Finally I added three more Basic Rhinestone Jewels and a few splatters with my Mossy Meadow Stamp and Write marker. It turned out super cute I think!

The Spot Challenge #155 - Spring has Sprung with Stampin' Up! Pretty Parasol and Hydrangea Dies
Hi There and Happy Tuesday! Hope your week is off to a great start. This week's challenge over at The Spot this week is a theme challenge all about Spring!
When I think of spring, I think of rain, sunshine and flowers and this week's card is all about these things! I loved how it came together!
I started out with a Misty Moonlight A2 cardbase that measured 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4". I mounted a 3-3/4" x 5" panel on the gorgeous Hydrangea Hill DSP onto a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" panel of Basic White Cardstock. Misty Moonlight 2020-2022 In Color Ribbon around the panel and tied it in a knot on the front left side. I used the Pretty Parasol Stamp set for my umbrellas and the Hydrangea Dies for the flowers on my focal panel. I started ink blending just a little bit of Misty Moonlight onto a panel of Basic White cardstock that was cut with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Scalloped Rectangle Dies. I added a little bit of Daffodil Delight to the upper right hand corner and then spritzed the panel with just a bit of water and used a paper towel to absorb the spritz of water. I used a Coastal Cabana Stampin' Write Marker to spritz some ink onto the bottom of the panel. I stamped the umbrella handles directly onto the panel with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. The umbrella tops were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on scraps of Basic White Cardstock and then colored with Stampin' Blends (Highland Heather, Flirty Flamingo and Magenta Madness). I cut the Hydrangeas out of scraps of Highland Heather and Blushing Bride. After die cutting hte flowers, I added a little dot center with Stampin' Blends. I adhered the tops to the umbrellas with Stampin' Dimensionals. Some flowers were added with Multipurpose Adhesive and others were added with Dimensionals. The sentiment was heat embossed with White Embossing Powder onto Highland Heather Cardstock and then fussy cut.... ugh! I really hate fussy cutting sentiments but this one was pretty simple to fussy cut and small enough that it could be adhered with multi-purpose adhesive on the bottom of the scalloped rectangle. I attached the completed focal panel onto the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. It really turned out super pretty. I honestly think the picture didn't do it justice!

The Spot Challenge #154 Case The Designer - Dena Rekow!
Hi There! Hope your week is off to a great start! I love the Case the Designer Challenges we have over at The Spot and this week has to be my favorite! It's the fabulous Dena Rekow!
It seriously took me about 1 second to decide which of her fabulous designs to case! When I saw her card last week for The One Step At A Time Blog Hop, my jaw literally dropped.. it was just so gorgeous!! Here's her card that I am casing!
Isn't it absolutely amazing!! For the link to her blog post for that card.. click here
Here's my case for her card...
The card base was an 11" x 4-1/4" half sheet of Thick Basic White cardstock, stored at 5-1/2". I used the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the 4" x 5-1/4" layer of Basic White for the background. I used the folder with the planks running horizontally since I thought it gave it a "ship lap" feel. On the Brilliant Wings die cut I used the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set. I Loved the set that Dena used but I don't have it so I just pulled out one that I felt would work. My flowers were stamped using Mango Melody, Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green, and Melon Mambo Inks. The stamp set that I used for the Happy Birthday Sentiment was the Posted for You stamp Set. I put the diecut in my Stamparatus so that I could stamp it more than once with my Memento Tuxedo Black ink if needed but ended up stamping it also in Versamark so that I could clear emboss it. The embossing really helped it stand out! Oh and of course I had to add some splatters using my Wink of Stella and last but not least I added 3 Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to finish it up!
Here's the inside..
I used another of the larger Brilliant Wings Diecuts for the inside and the same stamps and colors that I used on the larger butterfly on the outside. The sentiment "Celebrate" came from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Blessings, Tina
