SIP #184 - Something For Baby - Unity Stamp Co. Sweet Elle!

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  It's time for another Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge and this week is all about babies.  Hope you'll check it out and join us!

When I first saw this week's challenge, I was a little stressed, as I didn't think I had one baby stamp set that was current.  I then remembered an adorable Unity Stamp Co Itty Bitty that would work perfectly!  This is why I love those little stamp sets.  They are often just what I need!

This was such a fusion of products!  I used the Unity Stamp Co. "Sweet Elle" Stamp Set, Stampin' Up! Pink Flamingo and Whisper White Cardstock and Stitched Rectanges, Altenew Patterned Paper, and Fun Stamper's Journey Black and White Gingham Ribbon.  How is that for a collection to supplies??

PCC323 Sketch Challenge with Stampin' Up! Happy Tails Bundle

Hello and Happy Hump Day!  I'm back today with another card for the Paper Craft Crew Design Team.  Check out this week's sketch..

I used the sketch this week more as Inspiration than anything.  I really wanted to use my new Happy Tails Stamp Bundle from Stampin' Up!.

I adore this stamp set and punch!  I'm also on a mission to use retired DSP and scraps of cardstock.  So this design really worked out well for that.  I really threw this card together really quickly but I still think it is super cute!  I'll be using this one more so be on the look out for it!

SIP #183 Theme Challenge - All My Love

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  My Monday was so loooooong!  I thought it would never end!  I was not exactly full of inspiration after a 12 hour day.  Alas, I had a design team project due so I had to make something for this week's Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge!

For my card I used a couple of different sets.  The background stitched rectangle is the Marbled Turnabout from Concord & 9th.  The heart die cut is from Hero Arts January 2018 My Monthly Hero Kit.  I love those kits because if you need a card really quick there is usually one I can pull out to put something together.

The card base was Stampin' Up! Flirty Flamingo.  The marbled layer was stamped with Flirty Flamingo, Blushing Bride, Powder Pink, and Primrose Petals (retired).  I also added a layer of versamark to the Primrose Petals turnabout so that I could clear emboss it.  It looks really cool in person.  The white stitched rectangle is Whisper White Cardstock.  The heart from the Hero Arts January 2018 kit was cut in Flirty Flamingo.  The sentiment was stamped on Flirty Flamingo with Primrose Petals and then clear embossed.  I added three PPP Clear Sparkling Confetti and added a few splatters with a Primrose Petals Marker to finish it off.  Although I threw this one together really quickly I do like how it turned out.

Scrapbook Sunday - Winter Theme Challenge

Hello and welcome to another Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop!  This month's theme is Winter or December Daily.  If you have already been hopping you should have landed here from the fabulous          blog of Sharon Dalton from Australia!  She is amazing!  There is sooo much creativity among this group!  I hope you'll check out every blog so you can get inspiration from across the globe!

I found myself with some pictures of my granddaughters that still needed to be scrapped.  I'm embarrased to tell you these are about five years old.  Yes... that is how behind I am!  One of my resolutions for the New Year is to get much of this scrapping done!!!

When I was trying to decide for a cardstock or DSP background I discovered that the beautiful Poppy Parade paper from Needlepoint Nook pack went perfectly with the sled and Laken's coat. I love the white stitching on the print and thought it would look beautiful with the snowflakes.  My snowflakes were from the amazing Seasonal Layers Thinlits... it is actually the perfect set for any scrapbooker!  The branch is from the same die set and I cut a few of them as I was going for the look of a snow covered tree leaning down onto the page.  I heat embossed the sentiment for the coordinating Colorful Seasons Stamp Set directly onto the page using my Stamparatus.  I love that it has two open sides so that stamping on a large page is so simple!  As usual I had to add some hidden journalling to hide my handwriting!  I just put my adhesive on the top and bottom of my photos and viola... a place to tuck a journalling tag!

I love the Scallop Tag Topper Punch for making tags.. another must have for scrapbookers!  I love that I was able to use three pictures on this page... sometimes I try to do too much and can only scrap one or two pictures on a page!

Up Next is Colleen Johnson!  Just click her name and you'll be there!

SIP #182 - Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Hi There.  Hope your week is off to an awesome start.  I'm here with a quick Design Team card for this fun Tic-Tac-Toe over at Stamp, Ink, Paper!

I went straight across the middle with Ombre,  Stitched Dies and Twine.

I started with a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock and a Time Holtz Blending Brush and various pink inks to get an Ombre effect for the background.  I used my Stampin' Up! Needle and Thread Bundle again for the background stitching and the flowers and leaves.  The sentiment on the bottom of the panel was heat embossed in black.  This was a really simple card.

Hi There!  I came home to my Occassions Catalog delivery sitting right on my porch.  That's a big Yay!  Especially since I absolutely adore the new Stampin' Up! Needle and Thread Bundle!  I was so happy that I had a Design Team project due for The Paper Craft Crew so that I could use it!

Here's what I came up with...

I'll say it again.. I adore this set.  This was just using the stamps.  Stay tuned because I'll be using the dies in the next few days and posting again.  I adore the embrodiery look of the flowers.  For this card I used Powder Pink, Granny Apple Green and Whisper White.

SIP #181 Color Challenge with Butterfly Gala Bundle Again!

Hi There.  Hope you are having a great week.  At leasst we have survived Monday, right??

Over at Stamp, Ink, Paper there is what might be my favorite color challenge.  Check it out..

Black, White and the color of your choice... how fun is that?

Don't shoot me but I LOVE the new Butterfly Gala Bundle so much that I used it again!  It's so cool to have a stamp that stamps both the large and small butterfly at the same time and a punch that punches them out together!  Here's my card for this week using Granny Apple Green!

I stamped the buterflies onto Watercolor Paper using my stamparatus and Versafine Black Ink and then clear embossed them.  I love using Versafine because it stays wet enough to clear emboss and to wipe off your stamp and not stain it.  I used an aqua painter and a little of the Granny Apple Green Ink smooshed onto the top of the ink pad to color them in.  The front panel was embossed with a retired embossing folder... I have no idea of the name of it.  I love it because it leaves you a good bit of space for your sentiment!  The sentiment was heat embossed in the same way using Versafine Black Ink.  I used the new Stampin' Up! Stitched Frame dies to cut my top panel.

PCC320 Sketch Challenge - Hero Arts, My Monthly Hero February 2018

Hello and Happy New Year Day 2!  One of my goals this year is to blog more so today I have a quick card for the new Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge.

It's a sweet sketch that is easy to use!  I went retro with a February 2018 Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Kit for my card today.

I did a quick watercolor wash on some scrap watercolor paper for my circle.  The branch stamp from the kit was stamped by using a sponge dauber to add the brown and green before stamping with my Stamparatus.  I stamped the bird silhouette in a pale ink and then added a little ink with a aqua painter.  The sentiment was also a retro.... it was from a retired Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I love small sentiments that can be added to strips like this.  This was a really simple card that came together quickly.... but I like it.  I'm always needing birthday cards so I'm sure it will get used soon.

SIP #180 Thank You with Stampin' Up! Butterfly Gala Bundle

Hi There and Happy New Year!  Hope this is your best year yet!  One of my New Year's Resolutions is to make sure that I make a card for all of my Design Teams.  Well this year I'm not off to a great start as I forgot Stamp, Ink, Paper was back with a new challenge.  It looks like the couple of weeks off for me was not a good thing.  Oh well.. I do have a card for it now although I'm a few hours late posting it!  This week's Challenge is all about Thank You Cards!

So since I'm ready for Spring I chose to use the awesome new Stampin' Up! Butterfly Gala Bundle that will be available on January 3rd!

I LOVE butterflies and these are really fun in that they have such cool designs to color.   I used Memento Tuxedo Black to stamp the Butterflies and then used my Stampin'  Blends to color them in.  The awesome thing about a design like this is that you don't have to be an expert to color these.  The designs are fairly small so you really don't have to do shading.  Just color and enjoy.  Since I love Polka Dots I used the beautiful Botanical Butterfly DSP (free in the Sale-a-bration catalog in just a few days!) for my background.  I stamped my sentiment in Versamark Ink onto Vellum and then heat embossed in Black.  Oh and make sure that you check out the Occasions Catalog for the awesome new Rectangle Stitched framelits dies.... they are a game changer!  They contain so many fabulous sizes of stitched rectangles!  It was a really simple card but I think it's beautiful!

Thanks so very much for stopping by!  Blessings, Tina
