SIP #197 Something for Mom

Hi There!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  Stamp, Ink, Paper has a Something for Mom Challenge this week, just in time for Mother's Day!

I made a super simple card using Concord & 9th Double Cut Alphabet Dies, CZ Designs SSS Simple Sentiments II You are Loved Stamp Set, and DSP!

Since I'm still in a use up my DSP/Patterned Paper kind of Mood, this one took very little stamping!  The beautiful DSP was the perfect background!  I used Stampin' Up Berry Burst Cardstock and Neenah 110# Crest Classic Solar White Card stock.  The sentiment from my new favorite sentiment set, CZ Designs SSS Simple Sentiments II You are Loved was heat embossed in white on a thin strip of Berry Burst Cardstock.  Such a simple card but I think super pretty!

SIP #196 Shaker Card Challenge

Hi Friends!  You know how I love a good shaker card and if you do too then head over to Stamp, Ink, Paper this week for our Shaker Card Challenge!

Here's what I came up with......

I combined some Stampin' Up! Rectangle Dies, Stampin' Up! Stamps and Concord & 9th Fabulous Phrases Dies to come up with this  beauty.   Add some window sheet, foam tape, and sequins and there you have it.  This one is really pretty.  The stamp set is Painted Seasons and was one of the freebie bundles from the recent Sale-a-bration promotion that ended a few weeks ago.  The frame was from the coordinating DSP that came in the bundle.

SIP #195 - A Walk with Nature - Hero Arts MMH Kit December 2018

Hi There!  It's Tuesday again and time for another Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge.  This week it's a Walk With Nature.  There are so many possibilies with this one!

As I was going through my stamps I realized that I had never used any of the Images from My Monthly Hero kit from Hero Arts in December 2018.  So of course, I used it today.

I'm also entering this card in the #ablognamedhero challenge.

Here's my Clean and Simple Nature Themed Card.....

I went super clean and simple by stamping the mouse with the Dandelion in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto SU Whsiper White Cardstock.  I used my SU Blends Alchol Markers to add just a little color.  I also stamped one of the little dandelion fibers twice so that it would look like the mouse had just blown them off the dandelion.  I used a T-Ruler to add some black dotted lines under the mouse to ground him.   The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Black Onyx Ink and clear embossed.  I used my SU Stitched Rectangle (2nd from the largest) to cut out the panel and then matted with a thin layer of SU Basic Black Cardstock.  I also added just a little FSJ Sparkle Silk to add some interest.  After adhering to a SU Basic Gray A2 Card Base, I added some silver cord to the fold and tied it in the upper right to balance the card out just a bit.  I think it turned out super cute.  I couldn't believe I hadn't used this kit earlier.  I need to make a few cards out of it while it's out.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings, Tina

OSAT Spring Fling Blog Hop With Stampin' Up! Tranquil Textures Suite

Hello and Happy Spring!  I know that not everyone has Spring Weather right now.  I've noticed a few friends in Wisconsin posting pictures of snow.  I am so thankful that it is beginning to feel like Spring here in Middle Tennessee with 70 degree weather most days!  If you have already been hoping on this month's OSAT Blog Hop, I would like to thank you for continuing.  If you started with me, thank you for stopping by and please make sure you hop all the way through so that you get lots of inspiration!

Although I'm beginning to notice lots of  beautiful flowers blooming, for me Spring takes me to Spring Break and all things Nautical!  I spent many a Spring Break with my children in Florida and my husband and I usually go on a cruise in the Spring so Nautical it is for me!

There are soooo many things I love about the Stampin' Up! Tranquil Textures Suite!  The DSP is gorgeous... Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig and so beautiful together!  I love the Sea of Textures Bundle!  That Octopus is awesome and the coordinating Under the Sea Framelits cut some of the areas between the legs and that seriously makes me happy!  Also, the framelits contain a super cool fish net stand along die as well as stand alone seagrass and coral that I used on this card!

PCC #333 Two-Week Sketch Challenge - Stampin' Up! Daisy Delight Stamp Set and Punch

Hello and Happy Hump Day!  This week's Paper Craft Crew Challenge will last for two weeks!  So... you'll have plenty of time to play with this fun sketch!

I went a little abstract with it but had fun bringing out my Daisy Delight Stamp Set and Punch!

Another super fun thing about this card was that I was able to use up some retired DSP.  I'm on a mission to get a lot of that used to make room for new coming in!!!  Stay tuned because I expect a lot of DSP heavy cards coming up in the very near future!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings, Tina

SIP #194 Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge Concord & 9th Pretty Poppy Stamp Set

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  Time for another SIP Challenge!  This time it's an awesome Tic-Tac-Toe with lots of fun options!

I decided to go straight down the first row with Subtles, Sequins, and Butterfly!

I was so happy to find out that Calypso Coral.. one of my favorite colors... was a Subtle in the Stampin' Up! Color Group!! You would think that since I am a SU Demonstrator, that I would have know that but I did not.  I never keep anything sorted by SU Color Family!  I always like to keep things in Rainbow Order.   I used both the Concord & 9th Pretty Poppy Stamp Set for the flowers and sentiment and Stampin' Up Beauty Abounds Stamp Set for the butterfly.   I stamped the flowers on the edge of a Whisper White panel with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and used Calypso Coral Blends Alcohol Markers for my coloring.  The butterfly was heat embossed in Black as was the "much love" sentiment.  I used the fabulous Stampin' Up! Stitched Rectangle Dies for the front panel as well as the Calypso Coral matt.  I love the way they pop on the Basic Black Cardstock.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Blessings, Tina

PCC #332 - Sketch Challenge

Hello and Happy Hump Day!  Time for another Paper Craft Crew Challenge.  We have another fun sketch for you to check out!

Today's card uses some retired DSP along with some new Dies...

My original inspiration was that gorgeous watercolor striped retired DSP.  It had such beautiful colors.  The Night of Navy Cardstock was embossed with the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Embossing Folder for the background.  The other cardstock colors used were Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist and Emerald Envy.  The Butterflies are from the Buttterfly Beauty Thinlits.  The sentiment was from Simon Says Stamp CZ Designs Simple Sentiments II You are loved.

SIP #193 - Color Challenge with Concord & 9th

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  I hope your week is off to an awesome start!  For the 193rd Challenge over at  Stamp, Ink, Paper, we have some fun colors for you to check out!

I used two different Concord & 9th bundles for this one.  For the flowers I used the Enjoy It All Bundle and for the Banner and Balloons, I used the Happy Balloons Bundle!

I have to admit I wasn't sure of the colors until I started using them, I began to love them!  Both of the Concord & 9th Bundles I used have a lot of fun components. My inks and cardstock colors are Stampin' Up! Lovely Lipstick, Granny Apple Green, and Coastal Cabana!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings, Tina
