SIP #171 Fall Florals Challenge with Stampin' Up! Country Home

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  Stamp, Ink, Paper has a fun fall florals challenge for you this week.

I'll be honest I had a lot of great ideas for my card but in the end my allergies got the best of me so I went fairly simple with the new Stampin' Up! Country Home stamp set.

I used my Stampin' Blends for my coloring on the image.  I love the cotton.  One of my first jobs years and years.... and years ago was for a cotton company in Memphis, so I am very partial to all things cotton!  I used Basic Gray for my Card Base and layered on a 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock that was embossed with the new Dynamic Corrugated Textured Embossing Folder. I ran some linen thread around the Corrugated layer a few times prior to adhering it to the Gray cardbase, and tied it on the left hand side.  Do you normally have a particular side that you tie a bow or knot on?  For some reason, 99.9% of the time, my bows or knots are on the left hand side.  lol
I cut out my fall floral image with a Stitched Shapes Oval Framelit.  Then I literally could NOT find my layering oval framelits so I layered the stitched oval onto a tag cut out with an old MFT stitched tag die set.  I added a button with more of the linen thread tied into it to finish it off.

Thnaks so much for stopping by!  Blessings, Tina
