The Spot Challenge #117 - Create Your Own DSP with Stampin' Up! Nothings Better Than Bundle

Hey there and Happy Tuesday or I've survived Monday Day!  I'm back over with my Design Team Friends at The Spot Challenge Blog this week with my take on a fun new Challenge!

Create Your Own DSP is such a fun idea!  I used the awesome new Nothings Better Than Bundle and if you know me at all, you know I'd go with Coffee.. my drink of choice!

To create my own DSP, I randomly stamped the cup from the Nothings Better Thank Stamp Set randomly in Pretty Peacock Ink on a 3 3/4" x 5" panel of Whisper White Cardstock.  I made sure to turn my stamp so that the coffee cup was in varrying directions.  Once I was happy with the placement of the mugs, I stamped the inside of the cup image with Seaside Spray Ink.  I finished it off by randomly stamping with little retro star image in Granny Apple Green in various places between the coffee cups.... the star is Sooooo Cute!  I layered the panel on a 3 7/8 x 5 1/8" matt of Granny Apple Green Cardstock and then layered that on a Pretty Peacock 11" x 4 1/4" cardbase that was scored at 5 1/2".   I added a 1 3/8" x 3 7/8" piece of Pretty Peacock Cardstock across from the middle of the card and then added a 1 2/8" x 3 7/8" piece of Granny Apple Green Cardstock centered vertically over that.  I added a piece of white linen ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon combo pack and tied it around the front of the card by making a knot in the front on the left side.  On a large scrap of Whisper White Cardstock I cut the largest of the Stitched Shape Circles Dies.  The sentiment "Today is a" was stamped towards the upper left of the circle in Pretty Peacock Ink.  I then stamped the "Kind of Day" sentiment in the lower right of the circle with Pretty Peacock Ink.  I used Granny Apple Green and Pretty Peacock cardstock, I cut out with the "coffee" word die twice in Granny Apple Green and once in Pretty Peacock.  I layered the two Granny Apple Green coffees together with Multipurpose Adhesive and then layered those over the Pretty Peacock offseting it just a bit so that the Pretty Peacock shadowed just a bit on the left side.  I then added the word with Multipurpose adhesive between the two sentiments.   On a scrap of Whisper White, I stamped two more coffee cups just like I had on the DSP, and then cut them out with the coordinating cup dies and added them to the ricle in the lower left and upper right of the circle.  I stamped the little retro star with Granny Apple Green Ink three times on the circle.  I added the steam over the coffee cup on the lower left of the circle.  For the upper coffee cup, the steam was stamped on the DSP since there was no more room on the circle.   I added some dimensionals behind the circle in the upper and lower half avoiding the ribbon and adhered to the front of the card front.

Here's the inside and it's super cute if I do say so myself...

The inside sentiments were stamped in Pretty Peacock and Granny Apple Green.  I added three of the stars and then stamped the coffee cup at the bottom as I had done on the card front.

I hope you love it as much as I do!  Head over to The Spot and check out the cards from the rest of the Design Team... they are always inspiring!
