Hello and Happy Tuesday! Hope your week is off to a fantastic start! I'm back over with The Spot Design Team with my take on a fun color challenge!
I decided to play around Umbrellas today using the Under My Umbrella, Pretty Parasol and the Umbrella Builder Punch. Both of these stamp sets coordinate with this punch!
I started out with a half sheet for Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. I pressed my pool party ink pad onto an acrylic block and then spritzed it with water and pressed onto the watercolor paper. Once the ink was trasferred onto the paper, I spritzed the apper with some more water and allowed the ink to spread around before drying it with my heat tool. Once it was dry I stamped the sentiment from the Under My Umbrella stamp set in Versamark ink onto the upper left and then heat embossed in Gold Embossing Powder. It was then cut out with a stitched rectangle and mounted it with a Basic Black matt that measured 3 3/8" x 4 5/8" with Stampin' Seal +. It is a super sticky adhesive that allowed the watercolored panel to adhere flat onto the matt. I adhered the matted panel onto a half sheet of Pool Party cardstock that measured 11" x 4 1/4" and was scored at 5 1/2".
To add some shine, I spritzed the panel with a mixture of Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint and 70% Isopropal Alcohol. It is sooo sparkly and beautiful!
The black umbrella was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed in Gold Embossing Powder. Magenta Madness Ink was used to stamp the Pink Umbrella's solid image. I added the detailed image over that in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. The umbrella handles were adhered with Multipurpose Adhesive directly to the front panel. I added the umbrellas over to top of the handles with Stampin' Dimensionals. Super cute and super easy! I hope you have one or the other of these stamp sets and punches! They are adorable!
Have a blessed day! Tina
